Babka 麵包捲與芝麻荳蔻晨間麵包捲盒

The laminated brioche is perfectly flaky, and the chocolate custard inside those babka buns is rich without being too heavy. I heated one up for about 10 seconds and it was absolutely decadent.

That demerara syrup glaze on top is what got me — slightly sticky and caramelized at the edges, not just sweet. The sesame cardamom ones were the surprise favorite though, nutty and a little floral without being heavy. Split the box with my sister and we both wished we'd ordered two.

The chocolate custard inside the babka buns stays soft even after a quick reheat, and the demerara syrup gives the tops a nice crackly finish. I brought the box to a Sunday brunch and the sesame ones disappeared before I got a second one.
