Pistachio & Chocolate Croissant

The demerara syrup does exactly what it promises—every bite has that crunchy, caramelized shell that gives way to the soft pistachio frangipane inside. I warmed mine for ten seconds and the chocolate got all melty, which made the twice-baked texture even better.

That pistachio marzipan layer is what really makes this—rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced against the chocolate. I heated mine for about ten seconds and the syrup gave it a nice crunchy top.

The double-bake gives this croissant an incredible crunch that holds up even after a few hours, and that extra layer of pistachio frangipane on top is a brilliant touch—it's sweet without being cloying.
