This tea has a smooth, full-bodied flavor that holds up well even after adding a splash of milk. I’ve been reaching for it every afternoon as a comforting pick-me-up.

Brewed a pot for the first cold morning of the season and the aroma alone got me out of bed—it’s a proper, robust cup that takes milk well. The bag held up through a long steep without turning bitter. Exactly the classic pick-me-up I needed.

The deep amber color it steeps to is exactly what I want first thing in the morning. It’s strong enough to wake me up without any bitterness, and the flavor holds up even after a few minutes in the mug.
