Sebastian C. ★★★★★

The apples are nicely tart, which balances the sweet blackberry filling perfectly. Each cake feels generously packed with fruit, and the butter sponge is rich without being heavy. A proper afternoon treat.

Miles ★★★★★

The crumble topping stayed crisp even after a day in the tin, which surprised me. Tart Bramley apple chunks cut through the sweet blackberry filling nicely, and one cake was plenty with a cup of tea. Five is a good number for a small gathering.

Hannah A. ★★★★★

Bought these for a family afternoon and the crumble topping stayed crisp, which I didn't expect from a boxed cake. The butter sponge is genuinely rich, so one cake easily splits between two people. Five in a pack worked out perfectly for our group.
