I was a bit wary ordering surplus pastries but these arrived fresh and the Lincolnshire Poacher gives such a sharp, salty kick against the ham. Warmed one up for 10 minutes and the cheese went all gooey inside the flaky layers. Genuinely better than the bakery near my office.

The béchamel inside these is properly rich, not the thin sauce you usually get in a ham and cheese croissant. Six for the price felt like a steal, and the Lincolnshire Poacher actually comes through against the ham.
